Rooted in Support, Growing in Strength

Community in Bloom

About The Farm

The Farm is a welcoming space dedicated to building a supportive community for women and families. Located at 1344 Wentworth Road in Sweets Corner, Nova Scotia, the farm offers workshops and community activities that encourage connection, creativity, and shared learning.

Operated by the Veteran Farm Project, The Farm is committed to uplifting women veterans, supporting serving women, and strengthening connections within the community.

Our goal is to create a joyful, inclusive experience where women can connect, grow, and feel a sense of belonging.

The Benefits of The Farm

Service doesn’t end. It grows.

A place of support for serving women, women veterans, and women in the

community.

The Veteran Farm Project is a trauma-informed, nature-based space

supporting serving women, women veterans, and women in the community.

The farm offers connection, peer support, and healing through time on the

land — without ranks, pressure, or expectations.

The Farm builds a sense of community, encourages active lifestyles, and

supports physical well-being by using horticultural therapy principles to deliver

appropriate, trauma-informed programming.

We also offer education around

gardening and nature to help foster healthy, sustainable living within our

community.
